The Dallas Cowboys and Jerry Jones have caught a lot of flak for not adding the necessary pieces to make the team Super Bowl contenders last season. This offseason, Jones is forced to walk a fine line between improving the roster while balancing a tight salary cap. Below, you’ll find the full Dallas Cowboys salary cap table.
Even CeeDee Lamb threw some shade at Cowboys executives in an appearance on Around The NFL. Lamb said:
“Look at the Eagles. They’ve got three receivers. Great tight end group. They run the ball well. O-Line is very phenomenal. You look at San Fran. They’ve got, they surrounded their quarterback. You get success ultimately.”
Luckily for Jones, the NFL salary cap has been set at $224.8 million. That’s a $16.6 million jump from last season. The Cowboys 2023 cap space figure wasn’t large going into the offseason, but after a lot of tweaks, they have some money to play with.
Below is a look at the current state of the Cowboys salary cap, according to Spotrac.com. They currently have $13.3 million in cap space after some restructuring, re-signings and trades.
